We had a visitor in Torrington today... I took the photo below as a bull elk ran past the front of the office and through a pasture of cattle to the south. He was in a hurry because there were three cars following him around the countryside. This was after I read on the KNEB website that a Moose had to be herded out of Mitchell last evening. It must be the drought that is pushing these animals out of their normal habitat and into our backyards. I live in Morrill and a rattlesnake with 8 rattles was killed at my neighbor's doorstep two weeks ago...
