Today I noticed harvest starting to pick up around the region. We've had some decent drying days but some fields just don't seem to be ripening as quickly as we would hope. I have been dispatching trucks to the fields for some of our growers and the cool dewy mornings are great for cutting, but not so great when the combine needs to be running. If you anticipate needing a custom hauler, please call 308-225-1775 and I will put you on the schedule. This year, with many crops being harvested simultaneously, last minute trucks are hard to find. I don't think the drivers realize how much Stateline appreciates their flexibility and patience during harvest! Picking up beans out of the grower's field is a little more time consuming than hauling corn or beets... Thank you!
